FAU linebacker with special-teams edge and developmental upside
John Francois is a Florida Atlantic linebacker whose early-college profile points to a reliable, physical depth piece rather than a headline-grabbing stat producer; FAU’s 2021 roster notes show he earned a preseason-camp spot and logged special-teams and depth reps, while his background as a high-motor defender from Cypress Lake suggests toughness and versatility. There isn’t enough publicly available, stat-rich evidence to label him a major current-impact starter, but he looks like the kind of roster fit coaches value for effort, positional flexibility, and room to grow.
