Senior Walk-On Sharpshooter for UNC
Wade Moody, a 6'0" senior walk-on guard for the North Carolina Tar Heels, is a high-intensity sharpshooter whose differentiator is his clutch three-point shooting in critical moments, such as hitting a pair of 3s to push UNC over 100 points in a 2014 win vs. Wake Forest[4][8]. Though his 2025–26 stats show minimal volume (0.6 PPG, 38.5% FG)[7], his intensity, walk-on grit, and ability to energize the Dean Dome make him a unique fit for teams needing a reliable late-game shooter with elite personality and team-first mentality[2][3]. He has no known injury history and thrives in high-pressure environments, making him a good fit for teams valuing resilience and scoring bursts over consistent stats.
