Jiri Hubalek brings veteran size, rebound production, and academic consistency to Iowa State's front line
Hubalek has shown reliable interior value for Iowa State, including a career-best 19 points and 11 rebounds in a win over North Dakota State, and he has also posted seasons around 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds while earning second-team academic All-Big 12 recognition. His appeal is straightforward: he gives you a traditional center's presence, can score efficiently around the rim, and provides steady rebounding and physicality. For a team needing a tough, steady big man with proven production and a disciplined profile, he's a strong fit.
