Tucker King gives Cincinnati a big-bodied freshman right-hander with real upside
In the 2026 season, Tucker King is listed by Cincinnati as a 6-foot-3, 210-pound freshman RHP from Western Springs, Illinois, making him one of the Bearcats’ freshman arms to watch[1][2]. His profile suggests a classic power-pitcher build with starter-style upside, and Cincinnati’s decision to bring him into the 2026 freshman class signals confidence in his long-term development[1][2]. The key question is workload and polish: if the stuff holds and the strike throwing catches up, he looks like the kind of arm that can fit a program wanting size, ceiling, and room to grow.[1][2]
