Jeremy Barnes brings proven scoring punch and all-conference upside to SFA's backfield
Jeremy Barnes is a compact, productive runner who has shown real playmaking juice and consistent finishing ability; in the 2026 season, he earned all-conference recognition at another level by leading CUI with 40 goals, and that kind of production suggests a back who can handle volume and create after contact. For Stephen F. Austin, he looks like the kind of RB who can raise the offense’s floor: physical, reliable, and motivated. He’s the sort of fit teams like when they want toughness with a little extra spice—an every-down tone-setter, not just a highlight machine.
