Coby Hatcher brings proven JUCO production and multi-dimensional value to HCU
Coby Hatcher arrived at Houston Christian after two productive seasons at Iowa Western, where he hit .337 as a sophomore with 42 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 60 games, giving the Huskies a contact-plus-speed outfielder with real run-production upside. In 2026, his HCU stats were limited, but his track record says he can impact games with gap power, baserunning, and pressure on pitchers rather than loud home-run totals. That profile fits a team needing a steady, competitive outfield bat with experience in winning baseball.
