Max Price gives UAB real middle-of-the-order juice behind the plate
In the 2026 season, UAB catcher Max Price hit .263 with a .921 OPS, 6 home runs, 24 RBI, and 25 hits in 34 games, while also earning First Team All-Conference honors[1][5][6]. At 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, he brings legit power, a clutch track record with two walk-off homers in 2026, and enough versatility to help at catcher or DH[1][5][8]. If you want a bat that can change a game and a bigger-bodied backstop with proven production, Price is worth serious attention[1][5].
