Xavier Walker brings size, versatility, and veteran instincts to MTSU’s secondary
Xavier Walker has been a steady, physical presence for Middle Tennessee, and in the 2026 roster update he’s listed at 6-4, 208 pounds with senior status[3]. In his Blue Raider seasons, he showed real snap value and production, including 31 tackles and five pass breakups in one year, with his 825 snaps ranking second among safeties[3]. His size at safety is a major differentiator, giving him downhill pop, matchup flexibility, and a wider tackle radius than most DBs. If you want a defense-minded, experienced safety who can handle volume and bring toughness, Walker is the kind of fit that quietly makes units better[3].
