Avery Johnson brings steady guard play and veteran poise to UC Davis
Avery Johnson is a reliable UC Davis guard whose value shows up in the little things: structure, ball security, and calm decision-making in pressure moments. The latest available UC Davis roster listing identifies him as a 6'0" guard, while historical stats show he has been a steady contributor rather than a volume scorer, which usually signals a role player who can keep an offense organized and minimize mistakes. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a composed floor general, not just a shot hunter.
