veteran Texas ballhawk with elite hands and turnover instincts
Dylan Haines is a seasoned Texas safety whose calling card has been ball production: in his Texas career, he totaled 162 tackles, 13 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception return touchdown, with 238 career interception return yards that ranked second in school history. He stands out for instinctive route recognition, reliable tackling, and a knack for flipping field position when the ball finds him. The key appeal is upside in a defense that values awareness and toughness—he’s the kind of smart, disruptive back-end piece coaches love to trust in big moments.
