Javon Walker brings veteran safety instincts and proven production to NC State
Walker is listed as an NC State safety and, in the 2007 season, recorded 25 total tackles with 10 solo stops and 15 assists, showing reliable run support and steady downhill play. His broader football résumé is stronger than the stat line suggests: he was a junior college All-American, earned second-team All-ACC honors, and later became a first-round NFL pick and Pro Bowl receiver, which points to high-end athletic traits, competitiveness, and football IQ. If you want a tough, experienced defender with a track record of making impact plays, he’s a strong fit.
