William Berg gives Mississippi State a steady leg with upside in field position
William Berg is a junior punter for Mississippi State listed at 5-9 and 195 pounds, and his value is the classic hidden-yardage kind: clean operation, field-position impact, and roster versatility that coaches love in specialists[2]. Publicly available current game-by-game production is limited, but his profile suggests a player whose fit depends less on flash and more on consistency, hang time, and poise under pressure—the stuff that quietly changes Saturdays[1][2].
