Elite-Speed LB with 4.73 40-Yard Dash & 32 Total Tackles for San Diego Toreros
Joe Martin stands out as a rare linebacker with elite SPARQ testing (4.73 40-yard dash, 29.4" vertical), ranking 21st of 220 LBs, which fuels his intensity and coverage speed beyond typical stats. In the 2023 season, he finished 8th on the team with 32 total tackles (19 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1 QB sack, showcasing his ability to disrupt plays in the backfield. His personality is marked by relentless drive—evident in his 45-yard interception return that stopped a drive at the 9-yard line—and he thrives in high-pressure moments. With no reported injury history and a natural fit for teams needing speed and versatility, Martin is a compelling prospect for any squad seeking a dynamic, high-intensity linebacker who elevates the defense with both physicality and football IQ.
