Richardson Maitre brings steady two-way guard play and veteran feel to Samford
Maitre has been a reliable rotation guard for Samford, producing around 5.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while giving the Bulldogs a physical, experienced backcourt option[5]. His value is less about gaudy scoring and more about balance: he can handle the ball, chip in on the glass, and has shown he can contribute across the box score, including a 6.4-point, 3.7-rebound, 3.1-assist stretch in Samford’s roster notes[2][5]. He looks like a fit for teams that want toughness, versatility, and a player who can do the little things without needing touches[2][6].
