Penn State Sharpshooter Turned Program Stalwart (2012-13)
Nick Colella, a 6'3" guard for the Penn State Nittany Lions in the 2012-13 season, lit up the court with a team-leading 35.9% from three (33 makes in 31 games), 4.0 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and standout defense (22 steals, 33 assists), peaking with a career-high 15 points on 5 threes vs. Duquesne. His pesky intensity and glue-guy reliability off the bench made him a differentiator in a tough Big Ten slate—perfect for teams needing a gritty, high-IQ shooter who elevates without demanding the spotlight. Now thriving as Penn State's basketball chief of staff.
