Cornell’s Daane Reinking is a former Big Red linebacker turned program veteran, not a current roster player
Daane Reinking is listed by Cornell as a former linebacker from Littleton, Colorado, with letterwinner status in the 2000-01 through 2002-03 seasons, but the available Cornell records do not show current playing stats or a 2026 roster role. The clearest differentiator here is experience: he appears in Cornell’s football history as a durable multi-year contributor, and later Cornell pages list him in a student-assistant coaching role, which suggests football IQ and leadership. If you’re looking for an active defender to evaluate, this is not a current on-field fit; if you value program knowledge and continuity, he checks that box.
