Will Johnston brings steady backcourt production and veteran experience to Virginia Tech
Johnston is a dependable guard whose game is built on shooting touch, composure, and local-state familiarity, with ESPN listing him at 2.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game on 35.4% shooting[1]. He has been recognized as a two-time first-team All-Dominion District selection, which points to a strong competitive baseline and proven high-school pedigree[6]. For a team, his appeal is less about star volume and more about fit: a low-drama, role-friendly guard who can provide spacing, accountability, and experience.
