a versatile, high-motor guard with two-way grit
Lesley Hendricks was a multi-sport standout at NJIT, and the profile that pops is toughness: she was a team captain in track and field, held school records in the 200 and 300 meters, and earned second-team all-Union County honors in basketball before joining the Highlanders[5][8][11]. In her NJIT basketball debut stretch, she flashed scoring punch, including a 10-point outing as a freshman[7]. The appeal here is clear: speed, competitiveness, and leadership—an energetic fit for a program that values guard play with juice and edge[5][11].
