Blue Raiders land a downhill, do-it-all safety with ballhawk juice
Justis Haggard looks like a strong fit for Middle Tennessee because he brings real versatility: at Oakland in the 2025 season, he posted 45 tackles, 2 interceptions, a forced fumble, and a blocked kick while also adding 439 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on offense. Evaluators describe him as a hard hitter, instinctive safety, and ballhawk who can play in the box or deep, which gives the Blue Raiders a physical, high-motor defender who can impact special teams too. The only real question is health after an ankle injury late in the 2025 season, but the ceiling is plenty loud.
