High-motor local guard with sneaky efficiency, now looking for a bigger role
Aaron Fine is a 6-foot-2 guard from Noblesville who came to Purdue as a preferred walk-on, redshirted in the 2024-25 season, and then appeared in nine games in 2025-26, scoring 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting while adding three assists. He’s the kind of glue guy coaches like: steady, local, and efficient, with a high school resume that included 17.9 points per game as a senior and 41% shooting from three. The downside is obvious—he has been a low-minute reserve—but the upside is a dependable, intelligent backcourt piece with Division I capability and room to grow.
