Blake Hammonds brings veteran size and depth to EKU’s offensive line
Blake Hammonds is a 6-foot-3, 297-pound offensive lineman for Eastern Kentucky, and his profile points to a sturdy interior-body type that fits the trench-warrior role well[1][2]. He was listed as a redshirt freshman in EKU’s roster materials and was noted as having played in four games, which suggests developmental depth rather than a headline-grabber role so far[1]. For a team, the appeal is his frame, experience in the program, and potential to add dependable line depth; the question is less about flash and more about whether he can keep ascending into a trustworthy, physical blocker[1][2].
