seasoned Southern LB known for leadership, disruption, and take-no-prisoners physicality
Vincent Lands brings classic linebacker thump and tone-setter energy to Southern: in the 2008 season, he was a team captain, recorded 70 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks, earning first-team All-SWAC recognition[3][12]. That profile screams downhill playmaker—someone who can wreck run fits, pressure the backfield, and bring veteran edge, with reliability and leadership that coaches love in a defensive fit[3].
