Tiger Burkes is a veteran Akron linebacker with a high-IQ, assignment-sound profile
Tiger Burkes brings the kind of dependable, grown-man linebacker traits coaches love: he’s a 6'2", 212-pound Bethel Park product who has been on Akron’s roster for years and was listed as a freshman with the Zips back in 2019, giving him a real feel for the defense and how to operate within it. His edge is reliability and football IQ rather than flash—good fit for a team needing a steady, physical, low-drama LB who can learn quickly and play with discipline.
