Marshall’s rising lefty has become a rotation anchor
Veal’s 2026 season turned heads: she logged 101.2 innings with a 3.10 ERA, seven complete games, three shutouts, and 75 strikeouts, while winning seven straight starts during Marshall’s run to the NCAA Tournament. The big differentiator is poise under pressure—she’s repeatedly delivered in tight spots, including complete-game gems and a career-high seven-K outing against Georgia State. She looks like a high-competitiveness, plug-and-play starter who can handle volume and win with command, toughness, and a sneaky ability to lock down momentum.
