Coastal Carolina’s QB listing looks like a roster mix-up, not a current on-field storyline
Sean Fortson is listed by Coastal Carolina athletics as a former all-purpose player/wide receiver, not a current quarterback, so he does not appear to be an active 2026 QB contributor for the Chanticleers. His Coastal profile shows a versatile background — including rushing and passing production in college — which suggests athleticism and gadget value, but there’s no current stat-leader evidence to evaluate him as a present-day fit at quarterback.
