Veteran Cal linebacker David Wilkerson brings steady, disruptive edge presence
David Wilkerson is a proven, physical linebacker for California who shows up with reliable tackling instincts, edge toughness, and a history of producing in key moments; his profile at Cal lists him at 6-2, 220 pounds, and his earlier college stint included 19 tackles and 4 sacks in the 2010 season, which hints at why he’s valued as a pressure-and-coverage hybrid. He’s the kind of player who can raise the floor of a defense with effort, awareness, and versatility rather than flash—good fit material if a team wants a dependable, hard-nosed defender who plays with urgency.
