Chance Pickard is an emerging Morgan State defensive lineman with early-game production
In the 2024 season, Chance Pickard appeared in five games for Morgan State as a 6-foot-3, 240-pound freshman defensive lineman and posted 5 tackles, including a tackle for loss, which is a solid early footprint for a young interior defender.[2] His best selling point is developmental upside: he already has enough size to play the line and enough early snaps to show coaches he can contribute in a rotation, but his statistical sample is still small, so he profiles more as a prospect to develop than a finished product.[1][2] For a team, he makes sense if you want a physical, ascending DL with room to grow rather than an immediate plug-and-play star.[2]
