Versatile Austin Peay DB with proven tackle production
Boynton projects as a physical, experienced defensive back who can impact games with his tackling and versatility; Austin Peay has credited him with 55 tackles and three forced fumbles in high school, and earlier game notes show he was already making noise as a freshman/sophomore by leading the Govs with nine stops in his first DB start. His differentiators are edge, discipline, and willingness to play downhill, which makes him appealing for teams that value reliability, run support, and special-teams toughness more than flash.
