Westhoff looks like a classic downhill linebacker with real production: in the 2024 season he posted 24 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks before a season-ending injury, then came back in the 2025 season with 15 tackles and 0.5 TFL, including an eight-tackle effort against South Dakota. Indiana State has also tagged him as a top returning defensive leader and the Missouri Valley pecking order had him among the league’s notable linebackers, which says coaches and peers value his feel and toughness.
