Ball-Hawking Fresno State Safety With Big-Play Swagger
Phillip Thomas was a feared, instincts-first safety for Fresno State, finishing his college career with 178 tackles and 13 interceptions in 38 games, including a standout 2012 season with 82 tackles, 8 interceptions, and 3 pick-sixes. He was praised for his nose for the football, aggressive run support, and game-changing range, which made him a true turnover magnet rather than just a tackle collector. If you want a defender who can flip a game in one snap, Thomas is your guy.
