Senior QB with Game-Changing Accuracy and Win-Driven Intensity
Carey Weaver, the 6-0, 190-lb senior QB for Mississippi Valley State, stands out not just for his 319-yard, 3-TD performance in a 28-26 comeback win over Delta State [1], but for his rare blend of precision (22/27 completions) and relentless win-driven intensity that lifts the entire team. Unlike many QBs who rely on raw speed, Weaver differentiates with calm decision-making under pressure and a personality that turns close games into victories—evident in leading the Delta Devils to their first win since November 2000 [1]. Though his overall passer rating sits at 73.6 (268th of 329 QBs) [2], his peak-game intensity and leadership make him a high-fit QB for teams needing a steady, battle-tested leader who thrives in clutch moments. You should care because Weaver doesn’t just play football; he elevates it with a quiet fire that wins when it matters most.
