Joshua James brings upside as an active, physical linebacking fit for Mississippi Valley State
Joshua James profiles as a linebacker worth watching because MVSU’s defense needs players who can flash range, toughness, and downhill urgency in the SWAC’s fast-paced game. Publicly available roster data confirms his place on the 2025 Delta Devils football roster, but detailed stat tracking is limited, so his value is best judged through role fit and traits rather than raw numbers. For a team, he looks like a potential fit if you want a linebacker who can develop into a reliable, assignment-sound defender with special-teams value and physicality.
