veteran Eastern Illinois interior force with proven OVC production
Bazigos has been a disruptive, high-motor presence on Eastern Illinois’ defensive interior, and in the 2010 season he led the OVC and ranked 38th nationally in tackles for loss per game while adding 46 tackles for the Panthers[10]. He also earned first-team All-OVC recognition in 2010[10] and was listed as a preseason All-OVC second-team pick by Phil Steele[8], which says plenty about his reputation: stout at the point of attack, active in the backfield, and valuable when a defense needs someone to wreck a play before it starts.
