Alcorn State Guard with Clutch Scoring Instincts Despite Limited 2026 Stats
Kristian Dewitt, a 12th-guard from Mansfield, TX, stands out for her clutch scoring ability—evident in her 2017 OT game where she hit a jumper to narrow the gap to 17-16—despite modest 2026 stats (2.2 PPG, 30.2% FG). Her differentiators include high intensity, a competitive mindset, and prior All-Conference First-Team recognition at San Jacinto (10 PPG as a freshman). While her current role is limited, her history of stepping up in tight moments and strong foundational skills make her a potential fit for teams needing reliable backup guards with game-changing potential. No known injury history; her intensity and personality traits suggest she thrives under pressure.
