Redshirt Senior Guard Anchoring JMU with Clutch Scoring and Steady Leadership
Jody LeRose, a 5-9 redshirt senior guard for the James Madison Dukes, stands out as a clutch performer who delivered 12 points in a key loss to Duquesne and hit a critical three-pointer to tie the game against William & Mary before JMU won in overtime. Her differentiators include unwavering intensity, a calm presence under pressure, and the ability to step up when teammates are shaken—evident when she replaced a shaken Price and hit both free throws to secure a win over George Mason. While her shooting efficiency dipped to .328 in one game, her leadership and reliability in tight moments make her a high-fit addition for any team needing a steady, battle-tested guard with a West Virginia grit and a proven track record of stepping up when it matters most.
