Darrion Cook brings veteran depth and special-teams grit to Nicholls
In the 2019 season, Darrion Cook appeared in all 14 games for Nicholls, made two starts at receiver, and totaled five catches for 43 yards, with his first career reception coming against Central Arkansas. He’s the kind of low-drama, high-accountability veteran who adds value beyond the box score: reliable on special teams, physical enough to handle contact, and experienced in a complementary role. For a team needing toughness, maturity, and a dependable locker-room presence, Cook reads as a steady fit rather than a headline-grabbing playmaker.
