Efficient Louisiana Guard With Breakout Scoring Potential
Jarret Evans is a 6-foot-3 freshman guard for Louisiana who has flashed real efficiency and upside, including a 19-point outburst on 7-of-8 shooting in the 2024-25 season and strong finishing numbers in the 2025-26 season. His profile suggests a low-usage, high-conversion guard who can score without forcing the issue, and that kind of composure is gold for a team needing steadiness. He looks like a fit for a roster that values smart shot selection, toughness, and a guard who can grow into a bigger role without needing the ball to dominate.
