Kwesi Solomon was Villanova’s disruptive veteran anchor up front
Kwesi Solomon emerged as one of Villanova’s most dangerous defensive linemen in the 2000-2001 seasons, repeatedly flashing elite backfield disruption with seven sacks in both 2000 and 2001 and earning first-team All-Atlantic 10 recognition as a sophomore plus preseason All-American attention in 2000. The big takeaway: he wasn’t just a space-eater; he was a finishing machine who consistently turned pressure into production. If you want a DL who can wreck protections, set a physical tone, and bring proven conference-level credibility, Solomon absolutely fit the bill.
