No Current College Athlete: Derrick Briggs (Class of 2014) Tragically Passed Away
Derrick Briggs, a standout 6'1", 220lb linebacker from Choctaw, OK (Class of 2014), impressed with elite high school measurables like a 4.7 40-yard dash, 4.3 shuttle, 31" vertical, 300lb bench, 405lb squat, and bone-crushing hits on Hudl highlights, but he never played for Texas Tech or any college program; sadly, he died in a car wreck in Houston, Texas, as noted in SETXsports forums— a promising talent lost too soon with no current performance data or team fit to evaluate.
