James Dumas brings veteran depth and proven interior fight to CCSU’s defensive front
James Dumas is a seasoned Central Connecticut State defensive lineman whose value is built on experience, gap discipline, and steady trench work rather than flashy box-score pop. Available stat pages show limited recorded production in earlier seasons, but his presence as a rotational DL points to a role that depends on leverage, toughness, and doing the dirty work that frees teammates. If your team wants an instinctive, physical interior defender who can anchor against the run and add reliable depth, Dumas is the kind of under-the-radar piece coaches tend to appreciate.
