Auburn DB Austin Dupper: former walk-on, academic standout, and depth-piece defender
Austin Dupper’s profile is built on reliability, not flash: Auburn lists him as a 5-foot-9, 176-pound defensive back who earned SEC Academic Honor Roll and Academic Top Tiger recognition, joined the program as a walk-on, and appeared in four games in the 2016 season with his first career tackle coming against Arkansas State.[4] His differentiators are toughness, coachability, and a proven ability to add value in a developmental role—useful if you want a disciplined, low-maintenance DB who brings special-teams/depth flexibility rather than headline stats.[4]
