Interior Anchor With Shot-Blocking Upside
Briana Day gives Syracuse a true **rim protector** at center, with the size and timing to alter shots and the rebounding presence to clean up possessions; Syracuse’s roster page notes she averaged **3.8 rebounds per game** and ranked **eighth in the ACC in blocks** at **1.19 per game**. She fits best as a defensive-first big who brings physicality, energy, and paint defense more than flashy scoring, making her a strong fit for teams that need toughness, screen-setting, and dependable interior disruption.
