Louisville’s quick-slot spark with proven production and hometown grit
In the 2010 season, Doug Beaumont was Louisville’s most experienced receiver and a sharp slot option, with ESPN noting his quickness, one-on-one separation ability, and potential value on returns. His profile is defined less by size and more by burst, reliability, and savvy route-running, which makes him a fit for teams wanting an inside receiver who can create easy yards. He also carried the weight of hometown expectations, having chosen Louisville as a Kentucky Mr. Football and a local standout, which added competitive fire and a visible edge to his game.
