Explosive, physical RB with proven bounce-back upside
Chaney is a compact, downhill running back whose best trait is his blend of burst and contact balance, giving him run-after-contact value and enough quickness to hit creases when the blocking is there. In 2024 at Louisville, he posted 178 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on 50 carries, adding 7 catches for 62 yards, after rebounding from earlier injury-marred seasons and a strong 2023 at Miami (478 rushing yards, 2 TDs). The main question is durability and week-to-week role stability, but he has shown he can be a useful rotational fit in a committee backfield.[1][3][5][15][17]
