an old-school CCSU frontcourt anchor with efficient hands and board work
Joe Efese’s profile at Central Connecticut State is that of a sturdy, experienced forward who brought efficiency and toughness to the Blue Devils’ front line. In the 2024-25 season, CCSU’s statistical pages list his production among the program’s historical leaders, and his career line shows a 52.8% field-goal rate with 3.2 rebounds per game and 1.3 blocks per game—numbers that hint at a physically reliable, defense-minded interior piece. He also has veteran credibility: he was a team captain, and that kind of steadying presence can matter just as much as box-score pop.
