Drianna Pena brings veteran hustle and run-scoring spark to CCSU
Drianna Pena is a versatile, experienced piece for Central Connecticut State, with a background that includes outfield and infield work and a reputation strong enough to earn all-section recognition in 2024 as a high school senior. In 2026, she has shown up in game results as a reliable baserunner and run contributor, which hints at speed, instincts, and a willingness to impact games without needing the spotlight. She looks like the kind of gritty, team-first player who fits well in a competitive lineup.
