Isabel Fernandez brings speed, versatility, and clutch pop for Mercer
In the 2026 season, Mercer’s Isabel Fernandez played in 46 games with 44 starts, hit .252 with 26 hits, 17 RBI, 13 runs, and 14 stolen bases in 16 tries, giving the Bears a reliable multi-tool spark at UTL. She flashed real upside with a three-hit, five-RBI opener and added a second homer later in the year, while her speed and contact profile make her especially valuable in lineup construction and pressure situations. At 5-foot-2, she plays with a compact, energetic style that fits a team needing versatility, baserunning juice, and a steady competitive edge.
