Caleb Bunch brings Baylor a proven late-inning arm
Baylor RHP Caleb Bunch profiles as a high-leverage bullpen weapon, with reports calling him the Bears’ go-to fireman and a pitchability right-hander who fits pressure innings well.[1][6] In the 2026 season, he has logged a 4-2 record with a 2.40 ERA and 35 strikeouts, and he was also named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year midseason watch list, which signals real closer-level value.[1][4] He looks like a strong fit if you want command, competitiveness, and a reliever who can steady games rather than simply overpower hitters.[1][6]
