Demetrice Clopton

Veteran Jackson State center Demetrice Clopton brings size, experience, and old-school interior presence

Demetrice Clopton is a 6-foot-9 center from Columbus, Mississippi, whose profile points to a true paint-first big with veteran experience in the Jackson State program. His listed size and long tenure suggest he can help with rim protection, rebounding, and physical post play—exactly the kind of low-drama, high-grit frontcourt piece that can stabilize a roster. The main appeal is role clarity: he looks like a dependable interior anchor rather than a high-usage scorer, so he fits best with a team that values defense, toughness, and an unselfish, workmanlike identity.
