the hard-hitting WVU linebacker who wins with toughness, not flash
Ben Collins is a physical, hard-hitting veteran linebacker at West Virginia whose calling card is effort, edge, and old-school toughness rather than highlight-reel flash. WVU’s roster bio describes him as a “physical, hard-hitting” player fighting for a starting job at middle linebacker, and older coverage has framed him as a walk-on who made good by leading with intensity and helping define the defense’s identity. He fits best for a team that values grit, reliability, and tone-setting play over pure measurables.
